Kym is a Registered Nurse and Founder of Kym Ali Nursing Consulting Firm. Kym works closely with healthcare facilities and nursing students to emphasize the importance of developing self-care and mindset skills to prevent and manage burnout.
Kym has over 15 years of nursing experience at the local and international level. Kym lived abroad in Doha, Qatar for five years while opening the country’s first Women’s and Children’s hospital.
Kym was inspired to launch her Consulting firm, because of her personal experiences with burnout. “I want to be for my profession what I needed during that challenging period.” Kym was in a bad place and was able to overcome her hurdles by beginning to change her thought process. She started this company because she wants to help other nurses and organizations manage burnout and stress.”
“It is imperative that we continuously take care of ourselves to take care of our patients. That is especially true for nurses.” Kym provides customized action plans based on self-care and mindset activities to help prevent and manage burnout.
