I recall the moments I spent off the coast of Langkawi.
Dealing with some negative energy I found within myself. A little bit of jealousy and anger towards myself for not following through with some of the plans I've had. Have to remember not to be so hard on me.

However, I'm sharing this to pass this message along and emphasize the importance of having skills and knowing what those skills are. A lot of us are trying to do things for our community and there are certain things that can't be done without numbers and sheer knowledge.
We need you, yes you...whoever is reading this...to be skilled enough to contribute in some way, shape or form.
If you have free time...spend it learning something new. Get licensed. Get certified. Get something. Don't talk about how we need to do more to come together and you can't even DO anything besides work a 9 to 5.

Black love is transformative.
It's patient. It's humble. It's fierce. It's demanding of excellence. It's brave in the face of everything. It's often misunderstood and mistaken for something else. It's rare. It's natural. It's immortal to the point of surviving the harshest conditions known to man. It's unconditional.
It's hereditary in some cases...
Genetic in others...
It's a balance of masculine and feminine energy. A give and take. A push and pull. Ebb and flow.
It's never asking for anything you can't give.
It's priceless.
It's a well kept secret.
It's affection after a long day of work.
It's damn near reading someone's mind because of how thoughtful you are.
Having meals prepared before a stomach growls.
It's baths drawn before the sun goes down.
It's inviting.
It's safe. It's secure.
It's warm like the sun and pure like streams of fresh water.
It's everything you need to cultivate consciousness and just...grow. Evolve.
It's healing. Therapeutic. Calming. Nurturing. Consistent.
It's a manifestation of who we are...
It's everything to people who understand what everything is.
Let's talk about how to recognize trauma since people want to act like nothing happened to them and that we don't need healing in our community.
Anytime it's hard for you to do something good for yourself or the people you love,... moreLet's talk about how to recognize trauma since people want to act like nothing happened to them and that we don't need healing in our community.
Anytime it's hard for you to do something good for yourself or the people you love, you've been traumatized.
You have had a tangible experience where someone took what was supposed to be good in life and flipped it upside down...and to make life enjoyable again, you had to learn how to see the world through their skewed existence.
So, when something good happens...something warm...something right...it demands that you see it for what it is. Right side up...but you can't flip yourself again...and for two reasons...
One, you don't want to keep flipping. You want the world to be what it is and build on that. If it's always flipping, then it's truly chaotic and there's no stability in that.
Two, you don't want to think everything is going to be alright and then have something happen again. Why open yourself up to pain you've already endured once before, right?
And this is why we need to talk about this...because our people aren't opening up...and we need that to build our nation. We are literally the most important resource of a nation, and we've been mismanaged since we landed on this bitch...and we need to give each other the chance to manage US better than we've been. Does that make sense?
Essentially...All the financial shit will handled as long as we care for one another first. People manage resources...if you mismanage people, your resources take a hit. I know that makes sense to y'all.
Anyway...we are a natural people. Most, if not all, of our success is due to our allignement with nature. Love is natural. Water is natural. Herbs are natural.
Trauma deals with the unnatural. The shit that runs perpendicular to how we function on a genetic level. That's why a lot of shit rubs us the wrong way. When we talk about white people shit, it's white people shit cause it doesn't make sense to our literal dna. On a molecular level, these people be tripping. Lmao
I say all of that to say...you can recognize the unnatural by the moments you have to unlearn. Most of who we are is embedded in us because we come from a natural lineage.
Let me give you an example with some trauma I've been working on.
I have trust issues.
The concept of family is something that makes sense to me in theory, but in practice, I have literal roadblocks that complicate matter in my home.
Overall, I'm relearning consistency because my inability to trust people comes from dealing with unreliable folk...that distrust had me being flexible for people who should've been reliable...and my distrust crept into my self love making it hard to even trust myself...and when I wouldn't trust myself, I'd change things up on the fly thinking I had to be flexible for myself when I could just be reliable...and consistent...and then, it made it hard for me to want to rely on people who are actually reliable.
Like I said, roadblocks.
So, I'm talking to my cousins and I'm telling him...I'm learning consistency. I'm learning that I can rely on people...
But then I stopped myself...because I know that I can rely on people. That's natural. My people are reliable. That's love. My people know how to love.
So, I'm not actually learning how to love...I'm unlearning how to hate, which will bring me back to love and closer to my people.
I'm unlearning that I can't rely on people.
And what this work will do is give me discernment.
After having both experiences of who I can rely on and who I can't, I can now see that a mile away. I'm no longer looking at a person's words when they say, you can trust me...it's all about actions now. I know before you say I can trust you whether or not I can trust you. I'm looking at everything. Your entire life tells me if you're reliable or not. Actually, people who are reliable don't have to say it. Lmao
But I digress...
That's an example of recognizing and healing from trauma and we need each other for that. If I didn't have my cousin, I would've never revisited whether or not people were reliable. I would've kept on believing they weren't.
So, then I have to ask you...melenated people...how can I help you heal? What type of love do you need on full display so that you can revisit the areas of life that used to be warm before someone came and fucked it up for everyone. For your people. Can we get that flame going again?
Let's talk about how to recognize trauma since people want to act like nothing happened to them and that we don't need healing in our community.

On my life...
Intangible is the threat,

And my name be the new hashtag,
The locomotive for the latest black lives matter trend,
And immigrants are running in to contend,
Chasing an American dream an African American would never recommend,
Our only American dream is that the dream comes to an end
Because if most of us have to live nightmares for a few of us to dream...
I just can't pretend...
That's a psychosis we need to mend
And just before I get my point across, he nudges the gun again...
Take whatever you want...
Take whatever you want from me...
I'll probably die at the hands of capitalistic demands,
Cause every form of terrorism is domestic in these lands...
Uncle Sam, neglecting reform is a weapon formed to perform armed robbery...
A constant demand of taxes without representation...
While the people in the highest paid brackets are acting as if we won the fucking lottery,
There's so much profit in prophets robbing those living in poverty
Was it ever really fun watching someone win playing monopoly?
When we played the game, was it all fair, or was it all stolen property?
Like racism isn't just an extreme manifestation of human dichotomy,
A cultural rivalry...
One culture destroys, the other heals...
But you wouldn't know because public education is a mockery...
The entire nation is founded on stolen goods and indoctrination psychology...
But don't forget, he's still robbing me...
Take whatever you want...
Take whatever you want from me...
Just don't take my rights...
"You talk a whole lot for someone staring death in the face...
I'm not exactly sure where you find your pride, but make no mistake,
You'll never be anything in this country
Nothing more than just another nigga,
And if you try to lead your people to freedom,
I'll pull this trigger,
You ungrateful monkeys, we took you out the jungle and delivered you from evil,
Enslavement and oppression from us is the best thing that could've happened to your people,
Me and my civilized brethren introduced you heathens to the meaning of peaceful,
You'll never be our equals
We did you all the favors...
Hell, I'd waste your ass right here if I wasn't afraid of losing out on your labor...
You're lucky I'm Christian,
Remember Jesus is your savior
Believe in him and not yourself, put all of your faith into your prayers
That way, all of your people will only pray for you while all of my people prey on you..."

The habits that impede your thoughts...
Or the mindsets that impede your actions?

I asked someone this the other day but...have you ever seen someone angry while tending to a garden?
And it's not just angry, it's all types of negative emotions. They simply have no place in a garden. You can't cultivate with hate.
You want to build a physical healing space for yourself? Build a garden. Visit someone else's garden and help out.
Whether we want to admit it or not, we are just like plants. We need sunlight. We need water. We need time and space to grow. We need to he rooted in things that are good for us. We need to be at peace.
Taking care of a plant will remind you of all the way you need to care for yourself.
Build that garden.
Commit to loving thyself.
And one day we'll build a garden for all our people.

A valid desire...considering someone was trying to deteriorate your life and lower your vibrations. When met with someone who doesn't add value to your life, of course you shouldn't want to change for them. You'll only end up ruining yourself and countless others around you.
However, if they are not...and they are trying to help you love yourself in new ways. Grow. Learn. Evolve. Then this desire of yours is invalid.
When met with someone who challenges you to become better, maybe you need to rethink why you are the way you are and why you're okay with staying there.
People just want to be wanted without others wanting to change who they are.

Many of us within the black community WEEP when we see someone who looks like us gunned down in the street. I mean, it really hurts to see that...but in between those tragedies, we are doing nothing to put ourselves in the position to be there for the individuals who are gunned down.
When they catch us slipping, its always alone.
And they can do that because we are so divided. It ain't nothing for a cop to pull up on somebody and kill them...and because we have no unity, we don't take it personal enough to DO anything. We just watch.
If it was your family...like your children. Husband. Wife. Mother. Father. Brother. Sister...you'd be willing and ready to do anything to save them. But we don't see each other as family, so we do nothing.
This site allows us to build a familial foundation within our community. If anything, you should want this for the safety of you and yours. You could have a family of 6. Mother, father, and 4 kids. All equipped to defend themselves. Everyone spends time at the gun range. Everybody's got a gun under their bed. Something like that...
And they can still outnumber you.
When the KKK used to come to our houses, they came with the whole crew. Their sheer numbers made it so they could snatch your little brother from your arms and hang him in your front lawn...
And let's be real about it, that shit hurts. That's what we see every day someone dies. We've just convinced ourselves that that's not our brother laying there. Hanging there. Scared. Alone. With nobody who cares enough to fight for him.
We're afraid to stick together. That's the fear they worked into us like poison. MELENATED PEOPLE IS THE REMEDY.

3. Now we're talking about education.
Don't get it confused brothers and sisters. You could have any type of degree you want in this country...and you won't be educated. You will have been indoctrinated.
You are taught just enough to keep the wheels spinning on this fucked up system.
They don't teach you how to build, only how to maintain.
They teach you how to get a job and survive, not how to start your own businesses.
And thats the environment we have our kids in. Remember that when you send your kids off to school. When they're logging into online classes. Remember that they're not telling the entire truth. Remember that they're shaping history to make themselves look better. To make your kids insecure about who they are. To make them docile inside. Paralyzing the mind.
Ain't no school for the revolution.
Nobody is gonna teach you how to be revolutionary.
How to be a King.
A queen.
But we need that.
We need each of our people willing and ready to build a nation. To fight for it. And nobody in this country is going to teach that to you but YOUR PEOPLE.
That's what this site is for.
We educate one another.
Uplift one another.
We don't tell lies that support personal agendas.
We don't incite senseless violence.
We're filling the gaps in history with the truth.
We're forging new areas of knowledge for our people.
They don't teach you how to love yourself.
This site teaches you that.
Shows you your beauty in our men and women...in our children.
And that is on full display every day.
We're all students here.
We're all teachers.
This is a safe space of learning.
