The Manhood Development Institute’s, “Men’s Night Out”, was a huge success.
This was a first hand opportunity for the young men of MDI to display their training and high civilization.
Special shoutout to Manager Greg from Olive Garden who not only covered the cost of appetizers but offered to volunteer his time to help and be a mentor along with some of his brothers. We appreciate you and thank your staff for your wonderful hospitality.
So many supportive comments from the people, thanking us for carrying out this work, but it is our honor to be able to help groom the next generation of leaders.

For a year now... Before prison reform was a hot topic (and I'm thankful for everyone that is sincerely striving to improve the conditions of brothers and sisters behind the wall) we have been in Lee County Correctional in South Carolina executing a program called the Academy of Hope.
This program is one of a kind and unprecedented. After the most tumultuous riots in SCDC history (where 7 brothers were killed 17 injured) we took what South Carolina Department of Corrections deems the the most violent, top influencers, gang leaders, and most problematic brothers in the system and housed the in one dorm, F7 which we call the Academy Of Hope.
People thought we were crazy (still do) but honestly I have felt the most love, honesty, realness, and loyalty in our space, on our yard, in the cells building with my brothers then I felt in any corporate situation. This program started of as an idea to help our brothers find alternatives methods killing one another, teach emotional intelligence, teach entrepreneurship, hear their issues, find viable solutions, and bring humanity back to an inhumane environment (and a few other things that ain't for the gram.) But basically spread love.
This is just an exert from a day in the yard. This is any and everyday at AOH. I am just so blessed to in the presence of my brothers and able to bring some love into a dark space. WE WILL CHANGE HISTORY! WE WILL HONOR OR FALLEN 7! WE WILL MAKE THINGS BETTER FOR THE NEXT GENERATION! I LOVE MY BROTHERS! 1 YEAR ONLY ONE FIGHT! GET HOME SAFE!
