Also important to know consuming too much, especially if Irish Moss is prepared too thick it can clog your digestive tract, and toxify your body. Also of note carrageenan the thickener extracted from Irish Moss found in (many) foods can cause digestive inflammation, ulcers, and is believed to be linked to some cancers. Irish sea moss is still extremely beneficial healtthwise, but as with most things we must excercise moderation, and good sense. Burdock root is another "super-food" loaded with minerals.. More than Irish moss I believe, but I could be wrong about that, but still super beneficial.
