Why would I?

I mean
She doesn’t like black people
Even though we built this
With our bare hands

So how could she not like us
If we built her?
She never said thank you
She fake an apology….

Yet America belongs to
Black indigenous people…..
You know dark skin
Til dirty colonizers came along
And made our homeland dislike us
For some reason….

America is a white woman
Shed blood and tears
A mean girl who puts her
National parks above the
Black towns….she’s been haunted ever since….

Presidents
Red white blue
And still
Jim Crow still in tact….

Why would i say
I don’t like America?
You know why?
After civil rights
After votin
After soldiers came home
America is still ungrateful….

America is still treatin
Black people
Like animals…
And I’m supposed to celebrate
Her birthday for that….
