Brothers and Sisters,
I stand before you today, not just to speak, but to ignite a fire—one that burns with the passion of our ancestors, with the urgency of our struggle, and with the unstoppable force of a people who refuse to be broken!
We are gathered here not as strangers, not as isolated individuals, but as one people—Black, proud, powerful, and unshaken by the storms this world has tried to drown us in. We come from a lineage of warriors, of kings and queens, of revolutionaries who refused to bow, who refused to accept chains, who refused to let their spirits be conquered!
But hear me now—UNITY is our greatest weapon!
For too long, we have been divided. For too long, we have allowed ourselves to be pitted against each other—by colorism, by classism, by petty differences that mean nothing when the system sees us all the same. They don’t ask if you’re rich or poor before they pull the trigger. They don’t ask if you’re light-skinned or dark-skinned before they deny you a job. They don’t ask if you’re a Democrat or a Republican before they flood our communities with poverty and prisons!
No, my people—we are ONE! And when we recognize that, when we stand as ONE, there is nothing—NOTHING—that we cannot achieve.
They fear our unity because they know that when we come together, we are unstoppable. When we educate our own, when we build our own, when we support our own, we rise! When we stop looking to the same system that oppresses us to save us, and start saving ourselves, we WIN!
Let me make it plain: We don’t need permission to be great. We don’t need validation from anyone. We have the power, the brilliance, the resources, and the strength to uplift ourselves!
But it starts with US. It starts with shaking off the mental chains they’ve placed on us. It starts with breaking the cycle of self-hate, of violence against our own, of looking at each other as enemies instead of family. It starts with knowing our history—not the watered-down version they teach us, but the truth! The truth that tells us that we built civilizations, that we led revolutions, that we have always been a people of resilience and power!
So I ask you today: Will we continue to let the system define us, or will we define ourselves? Will we continue to fight each other, or will we fight for each other? Will we stay asleep, or will we wake up and reclaim our destiny?
I say ENOUGH! Enough begging, enough waiting, enough hoping that someone else will do what we must do for ourselves. The time is NOW! The future is OURS!
Black men, stand up! Protect our women, guide our children, reclaim your strength!
Black women, stand up! You are the foundation, the heartbeat, the warriors who have held us together for centuries!
Black youth, rise up! You are the revolutionaries, the next generation of leaders, the ones who will carry the torch forward!
Together, we rise. Together, we build. Together, we take back what is rightfully ours!
Say it with me: ONE PEOPLE! ONE POWER! ONE DESTINY!
Now go forth—not just inspired, but READY. Ready to build, ready to protect, ready to WIN! Because when we stand together, NOTHING can stop us!
