We can’t talk about racism

We can’t talk about racism
But it’s in our faces….
It’s right there in our faces…
If you ever tell a black person
She or he can’t speak about
Black experiences,
You consider this as an angry
Black person
You’re not comfortable
You said in other words
That black person can’t be
Human, can’t be emotional
You tone police our
Pain, our daily hurt….
Tellin a black person to get over it
Tellin a black person to pick up by
Our own bootstraps…
Cos we can’t talk about racism
White people feel uncomfortable
When we speak about race….
When we bring up white supremacy…
They will gaslight us to manipulate
There’s no such thing as a system…
Sayin it’s all in our heads
But on the news
There’s always goin to be racial motivation….
And us, most of us like fools
Will forever protest
Pleadin to stop killin us
With so much tears in our eyes
It was all about peace….
We just don’t beat white supremacy
Ass violently
Again we don’t think like that….
Many of us don’t think violence is the answer
But they always put us in a critical condition
Or death….
Make it make sense
We don’t talk about racism
It feels like our discussions
Should keep to ourselves
And not post it anywhere
Still it’s the big ass elephant
In front of our eyes…
Some black people turned the other cheek
Some don’t say shit…
We’re still scare of the white man
We still think he’s superior…
And a few of us think
He needs to get his ass whooped…..
He needs to go back to Fred flintstones
Days….his original home, the caves
With his small minority population
Yes i said it
And….
And what…

Oh yes I shouldn’t talk about racism
I’m a racist….
Right?
Cos I hurt your feelings
I said fuck you….
I don’t care if I have white friends…
They know
I’m speakin the truth….
They know they’re benefitin from slavery
And colonialism….white supremacy is their best friend
BFF for life
Mighty tight….

You can be offended
All you want…
The bottom line

Is

We should talk about racism
We should put that word in our mouths
We’re at war we’re on the chessboard…
Don’t let anybody tell you
That you ain’t allowed to talk about
Racism
Cos white people feel uncomfortable….

You talk,
You write
You express your soul
You let your spirit be free
And have it to touch and waken
Others who needs to be woke….

We can talk about racism
Yes we can…✊🏿💯©️ Kai C.
