It's that time again!!! Time for us to converse about the things that really matter to us as a people.....yes I know that there is so much chat and information out there but we seem to be going nowhere to fast, plus what are we supposed to do with all this information anyway? Let's have that conversation?
But not this week, this week we will be asking the question: Are you PRACTICING Aphrekan Spirituality and if not why not?
We will explore why it is nigh on impossible to truly practice our culture in foreign lands, within a negative system. Why is it that we have so much trouble as diasporians reconnecting with our brothers and sisters in indigenous communities and visa versa? Where has our sacredness gone? Where is our natural order? Why is it so hard for us to realign with the natural environment without taking part in destroying it a bit as well?

Let's converse, it is so needed. Let's question ourselves and help each other to make some of the changes we so desperately need to be authentic to both our Ancestors first and ourselves.
