Comrade Al “AC” Carroll of the San Francisco Chapter of the Black Panther Party for Self Defense has joined the Ancestors. He passed away while he slept on August 2, 2023 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. “AC” was considered an OG in the San Francisco Chapter, he was in his late twenties or early thirties we didn’t know his actual age. Most of the members in the chapter were in their late teens or early twenties. He was very street wise and knew the game. He was a very strong brotha who loved his people and he could organize! The Party used his expertise in organizing on several occasions and his talents were used to organize other Panther Chapters. I last spoke to Al about two week’s ago on the phone and we had a very good conversation, talking about back in the day. It was good to hear his voice again, he will be missed.
