Repost. ๐ค Black Fathers.
So what does it mean when the righteous say "fear God", or "fear none, but Allah". Does it mean that we should cower? Emphatically not! In fact we should do the opposite. Walk tall knowing that you are backed by a much greater power. Some call it the power of the ancestors... others universal law BUT in order to weild this power we must have a healthy fear of consequences. The same way we wish to please our fathers, and abide by the order he established we must "fear" (respect) the father of us all.... The Original Black God of our ancestors lest we be on the side of the wrongdoers and you know the saying I bought you into this world and I'll take you out.
Al-'Alaq - The Clot
Surah 96 1-8
In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. Read: In the Name of your Lord who created.
2. Created man from a clot
3. Read: And your Lord is the Most Generous.
4. He who taught by the pen.
5. Taught man what he never knew.
6. In fact, man oversteps all bounds.
7. When he considers himself exempt.
(When he thinks he is self-sufficient)
8. But to your Lord is the return.
