Something that's rarely talked about, it wasn't just wipipo...

It surely does need to be examined, studied and talked about. It's a complex, multifaceted topic that blurs the lines between Arabism (racism), and Islam.
The short of it is Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) himself owned slaves. Not just Africans, but towards the end of his life he freed all if them, he even married 2, or 3 of them (somebody add on if you know). One of them was a converted Jew! Years later he condemned slavery altogether, and urged all of his followers to follow his lead.
Also of note is that one of his closest companions Bilal was a freed African slave. He was the 1st Muazin (The one responsible for the call to prayer) and Prophet Muhammad is quoted as saying that he Bilal would make it to Heaven before himself. Meaning he was a more devoted, and righteous muslim than the Prophet himself! Oh and btw. This "documentary" is filled with errors, and divisive opinions posing as fact by the enemies of us all no doubt. They love to see us fighting one another instead of them, but yes. The Arabs need to come clean.
