A man was left in excruciating pain after a toothbrush he shoved into his penis snapped during sex. Docs said the 43-year-old, who has not been named, was having sex with a woman who was on top when the horrifying incident happened. When asked how the toothbrush had made its way into his penis, the unnamed Indonesian man said it was pushed up there for sexual satisfaction, according to a report in the International Journal of Surgery Case.

When revealing more details of his DIY surgery, medics were told the man had been shoving brushes up his penis through a "small incision" since 2017. They said the man had waited 12 long hours before seeking medical attention for his penis, which he said had curved, was painful and very swollen. After an examination, doctors from the Soetomo General Academic Hospital in East Java decided he had an "eggplant deformity", a sign of a penis fracture.
They were forced to perform a two-hour op to repair his broken penis and dislodge the toothbrush.

Medics said the man was discharged three days after surgery with no issues.
He returned for a follow-up appointment one month later, where doctors noticed the "deformity" had disappeared.

At this stage, he was also able to pass urine and claimed not to have any long-lasting issues in the bedroom. Penile fracture, the experts said, mostly occurs during vigorous sex.
