It's not legal, or lawful, to pay taxes. Nowhere is it written in any statute or law, that ANYONE MUST pay taxes. If you don't pay taxes, nothing will happen to you. If you're threatened with any jail time or penalty, that's merely 'scare tactic'. Call their bluff - you'll win every time.
