FRANCE MAY REVOKE KÉMI SÉBA’S CITIZENSHIP

Pan-African activist Kémi Séba could be stripped of his French citizenship. Although he was born in France, his anti-imperialist activities in Africa and the Caribbean have caught the attention of certain French officials, who deem them so unpatriotic - or so much of a threat - that the French Interior Ministry has initiated proceedings to revoke his French nationality. This is legally possible, apparently, because he has a second, Beninese citizenship. Why is France afraid of him?
