As a black person
I’m not afraid of the “hood”
“Ghetto” people
People who live in the projects
Section 8…
Cos at the end of the day,
These are still my people
Black people….
I’m not afraid of
The suburbs people either..
They still look like me
I know there are good black people
And there are bad black people…
But you gotta remember now
The government created the hoods and the projects
The poor property, dangerous environment
That causes a lot of crime…that includes the music that we
Listen to..
It’s the white supremacy fault….yes I say it
We didn’t build any type of environment that
Involves cocaine, crack…every liquor store, a church
They did, and it causes many of my people to be so
Miserable or hopeless..
And so what’s up with the trend
On TikTok that says
As a black person
You’re afraid to admit that
You are afraid of the ghetto people
The hood people or somethin like that…
How can you be afraid of your own race?
Basically you’re scared of your own damn self…
You’re actin like a white person
The systematic racism enjoys the entertainment
Of our black self hate and disrespect….
They’re eatin unseasoned popcorn…
Like why we’re farther and farther away away
From each other as a black nation…
And the white supremacy feels extra safe
When we say we fear for our own lives towards one another….
Yet we ain’t afraid of white woman tears…
Or the fact police killed us cos we got melanin in our skin…,
The only time I could be afraid of
When some black people acts like white folks
Who can kill their own cos they’re black…
Which is horrifyin..
White supremacy in their bones are creepy..
You know that Stockholm syndrome will never leave this town..
I don’t like that trend..
But racism loves it….😢💔💯✊🏿©️ Kai C. 3-16-24
