I’ve said this
Black people with disabilities
Have to deal with white supremacy,
Too.. this is just another example
What’s worse is
That families have involved the police
Into some crazy situations when we know
Black people don’t even trust the police…

Ryan Gainer
Is 15 years old
Autistic
Black
Got shot by a deputy
Cos he had a really bad
Behavior on that day…
First of all
Why can you shoot him in
The knees or somethin
Police didn’t have to kill
Him
He’s almost my nephew’s age
And he’s autistic as well…

Now Ryan is gone….
Another black boy is gone
This time it was in California….
I’m sure there will be more situations
Like this…what if there’s a black girl
Down syndrome
Walkin down the street by herself?
Is she goin to get killed by authorities?

I mean
Black people with disabilities
Get killed by police
Don’t forget that man in a wheelchair
He got shot, too…
This is why we’re angry
This is why we need to need to blow up
Police stations for killin our loved ones..
And we shouldn’t care if the military comes
To protect the blue lives matter…
We still goin to fight,
Go ahead and bring your helicopters
Cos at the end of the day
White supremacy will always be in the
Wrong and they know that….

Ryan was violent
He didn’t get his way….
But does he have to die?
Does he have to become another
Hashtag, another poem?
And his mom carries this guilt….
She called the police, and Ryan drifted off…
She thought the deputies would calm him down…

When I heard about this
On threads, I was like
A black person got killed by a cop
He has autism….

Now you see
Why I said what I said
And I mean it….
So don’t tell me
I shouldn’t be angry
I’m not supposed to be angry
Cos one of my people got killed again….

If it’s an autistic white boy
It would be a different story
He gets to live
Police might shoot him in the leg..
And calm him down…

Yes it’s about race…
It will always be about race…
You’re not goin to gaslight my poem….

Cops
Police
Are still
Slave patrols
Slave catchers….

Black people shouldn’t trust
Them at all..how can we respect their authority
If they keep slaughterin us off the planet?

Now answer me that….
