There’s white supremacy
In a disabled community…
You know that, right?
So much whiteness
Even if white friends said
It doesn’t matter what color
Your skin is….
White supremacy is still there
I don’t care what anyone says….
Black people with disabilities
Any kind
We’re black…
White supremacy doesn’t give
A fuck about your disability
They care about your blackness…
Your melanin in your skin….
There are a lot of parents
Don’t actually teach their kids
With special needs about racism
Cos they thought their babies won’t
Experience such thing at all
They don’t expect them to hear those
Slurs… they don’t expect them to deal
With police brutality….even though some kids
Don’t understand what’s really goin on
They still experience racism…
It’s why black parents need to think
About how they’re goin to navigate in
This dominated society….they still need to
Talk to their babies with disabilities about
White supremacy…there are ways to tell them
How the world view us as black people….
It’s still sad that white supremacy made
black people with disabilities
Silent about racism…they give us Martin Luther king
Speech yet there are still some of us out here
Talkin about racism….talkin about how we
Managed…i can say
White people with disabilities gets all the attention…
That includes them talkin about racism…
It’s the truth…. That’s why there’s white supremacy in
Disabled community…I got no reason to lie….
We have to deal with it also…
