Despite popular opinion,
African Americans have always stuck together & because of that, I AM my ancestors! I'll never minimize their hard work, struggles, blood, sweat, tears and death by believing that nonsense. I correct people EVERYTIME I hear that foolishness, and I back it up with proof.

How did laws get passed?
Who organized protests, sit-ins, and boycotts?
Who were first to integrate their schools and workforce?
Who created and maintained all Black towns?
Who gave us our African American languages (yes there are multiple) and flags (yes there are multiple)?
Who created our African American holidays (yes there are several)?
Who wrote the Negro National Anthem?
Who were and still are the geniuses that benefit this civilization?
Who built this app?

The issue with all of this is whenever we progress, opposition tears us down and will try to drown us out. I refuse to take credit for the hatred of the others.
