A bill aiming to get the stories of LGBTQ+ Washingtonians told in schools passed the Washington Senate on Wednesday.

Senate Bill 5462 would require school districts in Washington to include inclusive and age-appropriate curriculum on the histories, contributions and perspectives of LGBTQ+ Washingtonians.
