WHITE POLICE PLANTING EVIDENCE ON A BLACK MAN!

What began as a routine traffic stop for CALVIN RILEY, driving his Mercedes Benz, quickly descended into a legal nightmare‼️

Body camera video shows Tallahassee Police Department Officer KIERSTEN OLIVER planting evidence in a DUI arrest.

Ultimately, after planting evidence of an empty liquor bottle in CALVIN RILEY’S car, they would arrest him for driving under the influence.

Tallahassee Police Department Officer KIERSTEN OLIVER approached behind CALVIN RILEY’S vehicle, turned on her lights, and pulled him over. At just 26 years old, Oliver is one of the new recruits.

RAC!ST Officers Craft A Plan:

At various moments in the 44 minute long body camera footage, Officer KIERSTEN OLIVER seems to go from charge to charge looking for a way to arrest Oliver.

Officers MARGARET MUETH and KIERSTEN OLIVER discussed the interaction in KIERSTEN OLIVER’s car before approaching CALVIN RILEY again.

MARGARET MUETH testified that they formulated a plan:

Ask CALVIN RILEY to submit to a voluntary field sobriety test, and if he refused, they would exercise their voluntary discretion to arrest him for a first-time offense of driving with a suspended license. 

When officers asked CALVIN RILEY to perform a voluntary roadside sobriety test, Riley refused. 

They didn’t tell him the consequences for refusing the then optional test.

Despite initial claims that Riley smelt like marijuana, by the time they had placed CALVIN RILEY in the back of KIERSTEN OLIVER’S patrol car, officers began to claim that CALVIN RILEY smelled like alcohol l.

They subsequently cited the liquor bottle as open and charged him with a DUI‼️

Oliver’s body camera recorded the sound of the liquor bottle being opened.

Police turn off Body Cams.

“You still live⁉️” Sergeant Smith asks, pointing at Officer MARGARET MUETH’s body camera. He quickly looks away when he realizes she is. Just 20 seconds later, MARGARET MUETH asked KIERSTEN OLIVER “Are you still on?”, Oliver shakes her head. The body camera footage ends.

The arrest report reads “a search of CALVIN RILEY’s vehicle uncovered a small bottle of vodka (approximately 5 fluid ounces) that was found open.” 😳

“I heard what I thought was a seal being broken,” Judge Jones said. “And one of the officers testified that she thinks that that’s what she heard as well‼️

CALVIN RILEY’s jury trial begins on Friday, April 5th.
