Why is the eclipse starting in the southwest🤔🤔🤔
Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the sun and moon rise from the east and set in the west?🤔🤔🤔

So where I'm at in NJ, I have been able to experience many sunrises from the beach. I have also done this while in MD and on my visits to Myrtle Beach. The sun rose from the northeastern direction from my location at the time of rising.

So back to my original question. WHY IS THE ECLIPSE STARTING FROM THE SOUTHWEST???
