Beyond Burgers vs Impossible Burgers

Both Burgers CAUSE CANCER.
They contain glyphosate. The impossible Burger has over 11 times the amount as the Beyond Burger, but again THEY BOTH CAUSE CANCER.

Beyond and Impossible contain roughly the same amount of saturated fat and more sodium than meat-based burgers. Both saturated fat and sodium can increase the risk of heart disease and stroke when over-consumed.

Both contain significantly lower amounts of vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds than unprocessed plant-based burgers like whole beans, lentils, or peas.

The Beyond Burger has less saturated fat and slightly more protein than the Impossible Burger.

Both burgers contain added sugar, salt, and other processed ingredients. When compared to unprocessed plant burgers made from whole beans, lentils, or peas, both contain significantly lower amounts of vitamins, minerals, and beneficial plant compounds.

The soy protein in the Impossible Burger is explicitly, (GMO) Genetically Modified Organism, using HEME. Beyond Meat does not use heme in their burgers. Heme is a molecule that gives meat its taste, and is found in all living animals and plants. Impossible Foods, however, uses heme as a key ingredient extracted from the root nodules of soybeans, chemically similar to the heme iron found in meat. Impossible Foods ferments genetically engineered yeast to produce plant-based heme, in a similar way to Belgian beer.
Heme is a key part of hemoglobin, a protein that helps transport oxygen. It also gives blood its red color, and carries iron throughout the body.

Impossible Foods has been in a legal dispute with Ginkgo Bioworks over the use of heme proteins in their burgers and other products.

The Center for Food Safety filed a lawsuit against the FDA, arguing that the FDA used a weaker legal standard than it should have to approve the use of heme. A San Francisco federal appeals court upheld the FDA's decision to allow Impossible Foods to use heme.
