Last weekend I was called in for an intervention, and loaned a really nice hoodie to a neighbor cause it was crisp outside. I made it clear I wanted my jacket back.

It's been a week, and it was starting to feel like he was avoiding me. Today was the 3rd time I spoke on it, and made myself very clear. I need that. He promptly walked to his house, and he put it in my hand. Sometimes "being the bigger person" just means being patient, while being firm giving someone the space to do the right thing.

I do feel you though. If someone encourages listening to higher self that's one thing, but someone saying "be the bigger person" feels divisive (white).
