A strong Black Man does not put his head in the sand when things around him are collapsing. He keeps a mostly a careful, silent watch on things. A strongBlack Man is a good observer of his partner or spouse - he will see when she is under strain, and take her aside, gently reminding her of who she is and what she stands for, lest she lose her way from her declared lifepath, which is so meaningful to her. She will love him all the more for that. He will see when she is tired and has forgotten to rest. He will know when she needs a bit of romance. He will realise he does not need to prove his level of strength, only use some of it in his everyday in small ways. He will be as a Goliath in her eyes for this. A strong black man is not threatened when confronted with life's feminine side. And I don't mean local access to basil and a plethora of cushions in the living room. I mean the need to talk, to just be, to listen. And finally Brothers, a strong Black Man knows when money matters - and when it doesn't. He will not place the need to earn it above emotions. Brothers my father said Strength is not about force. It is about insight.and that worked for me many times .
