Can you stop policin your own people
For white folks?
Please?

I know y’all love them so much
To the point that yall willin to defend
Whiteness in a heartbeat….
Y’all called your own people racist
When you don’t really understand the system….
I mean can you stop?
Stop for once in your lifetime?
No?
Never?
To be real with y’all
Myself included
We’re sick in the head….
I don’t know what else to tell you
Melaninated nation
White supremacy got us fuck up
Fuck over…..
And you don’t have to believe me
Or don’t listen to a word I gotta say
In my letter poem…..
But self hate in our community
Among our race
Does exist….
We were taught that from slavery
Til now…passin down to our babies….
It’s not all of us
There are some of us who love our melanin
Some of us who loves our own people…
We’re still out there teachin our babies to love
Dark skin, to love light skin….to love our hair, the crown…
We’re not teachin colorism in the streets….
So there’s hope….
Black people need to see love in other
Black people, black men black women
Black children….I’m aware of there are the good
And bad in us, yet as a race,
We need to stop defendin white people or other races
Who feel uncomfortable and scare of us….
Stop policin us just cos y’all hate yourselves
Doesn’t mean we have to, either
I don’t wanna hate myself
For anybody….
For white folks or other races….
They need to get over themselves….
So are the black people who hate their own skin
Y’all need to get over it…
Please stop
Y’all ain’t white…
In fact
Y’all will never be accepted even if y’all keep tryin….
I see that Stockholm syndrome…
Besides why would y’all wanna be around
Them, especially if some of them you meet
Don’t take personal hygiene seriously….
Stop tellin black people to be quiet,
Stop tellin black people there’s no such thing as racism…
Stop actin like a white man towards your own people….
That’s the worst part about being away from the people who looks like you….
That ain’t cool….
Stop policin black people, yes stop policin your own people
Will y’all?
Will y’all ever?

Some of us will….
Others won’t
Cos they’re utterly so in love with white people
It’s not even funny, it’s dangerous….
I say love your black self
Respect your black self….
All of that cos
Y’all got the right to live
Y’all got the right to be a human….
Y’all are a human….don’t listen to white supremacy….
Y’all are a human…..y’all feel pain….
Y’all are beautiful
Y’all are handsome
Y’all better keep that crown
Keep melanin poppin….
