Don’t ever write about racism
Religion politics Jews
Or maybe you can keep your poems
To yourself…ok?
Don’t write about about black power…
Just don’t write….
Write about love, and peace
It makes the world go round,
Right? People need love…
People need to have that
Feel good vibe, not the truth…
Alright?
Leave it in the dark…
Just don’t ever write this again…
Erase it….
It’s not you,
It’s not comin from a place of
Your heart, you’re listenin to that
trash…why are you writin like this?

Now I can hear a stern voice
In my head tellin me this….
A scenario…I can hear it yellin
At me, don’t ever write this again…

Is that mean I don’t have to speak up
From the paper? Would my message become
My never mind? Possible….cos
I fear and then fear would put me in a situation
Like I shouldn’t write that….

However people have voices
They shouldn’t be a limit….
I shouldn’t have one when it’s needed for
Somethin I should use it all the time
Cos somebody needs a message….

I don’t like when I am told
Not to write anythin ever again…
It’s not fair plus I don’t give a fuck
About feelings…

There are people who back away
Back off from my heavy poetry
Cos I am blunt….I’m a truth teller
Nobody likes the truth….you can say
I’m angry you can say I have compassion
I’m woke to a world where everythin doesn’t make
Sense….

And I gotta write a poem about it…
I gotta write what I observe….
People are crazy
Things are goin insane…..

So
Don’t tell me I can’t write this
Anymore,
You can’t read this anymore…..
