Deputy Chief of the River Rouge Police disarmed a knife welding man.

The incident occurred inside the Marathon gas station located at W. Jefferson Ave. and Coolidge Hwy in River Rouge, Michigan.

The man approached police with the knife in his hand when he was kicked to the ground. He was arrested and is now in custody at the Wayne County Jail.
