So according to Christian mythology, Satan is so powerful that God had to sacrifice his own son to save humans from the entity He created.

No, God doesn't have to sacrifice him. Jesus chooses as an example to us to choose the steep path of serving a greater cause other than ones own hungers, and lusts just like Heru.
