Roadrunners are fast birds, capable of reaching speeds of around 20 mph (32 km/h). They have a diverse diet that includes insects, small animals, fruits, seeds, and even venomous prey like snakes.
These birds are well-adapted to arid environments and play an important role as predators in their ecosystems, helping to control populations of insects, rodents, and other small animals.
