The truth is that Black culture is hardly portrayed in white media. However, white media has a strong influence on the perceptions of people all over the world. It's no surprise that authentic depictions of foundational Black Americans (FBA) are absent from white media. Therefore, it is futile to be aggrieved when the media does not present accurate and uplifting images of the Black community. Instead, we should focus on taking action towards boycotting the brands owned by the oligarchs, rather than merely blaming others. imo
