An Indianapolis mom says she was nearly attacked and her 6-year-old’s braids were cut after she didn’t tip the hair stylist!

According to 13WTHR News, AJ Haley says her 6-year-old daughter’s stylist allegedly tried to force her way into their vehicle after she didn’t receive a tip for braiding the child’s hair. Video of the incident shows the woman pulling at the car’s door handle while the little girl screamed in the backseat.

The mother says she was upset that the service lasted 10hrs when it’s normally 3 or 4. She claims the stylist became “aggressive” after Haley expressed her dissatisfaction. After allegedly fighting to leave the shop, Haley says a group of the stylist’s friends surrounded her with guns. One of the friend’s was able to cut the braids out the little girl’s head.

The stylist claims Haley brought a woman up there to jump her, but it was just the little girl’s Aunt who happened to be in the car with the mother. “My heart just broke. My heart broke in that moment because I just feel as a mom, I was just supposed to protect her, and as a mother, I felt like I failed when all I was trying to do was protect her,” Haley said. It’s unclear if charges are being filed.
