This dream girl situation
I’m stuck in it
I’m startin to think that
I’m too old to say and
Wanted to become

a “dream dream”
Cos I’m in my almost 40s
It sounds teenageish….
I’m not a teenager…
I can say dream woman…..

A man’s dream woman….
Here’s the thing,
I love the idea of
Dream girl….
That’s what the society
Come up with,
And when you think of
A Dream girl,

I think of love stories
Those romance novels type
You know the girl of your dreams
That a guy talks about lots of times
And it’s pullin my every soulstring….
I’m not goin to lie….

I love these stuff
Cos it makes me happy
People on the internet
Talkin about that dream girl
And it inspires me to write poems
About

Being that dream girl
To somebody’s eyes
To some guy….
I thought about being that woman
Who loves him, cares for him
Makes him happy for the rest of his life
And I don’t mind that….

That dream girl
He dreams about
When he falls asleep
And sees her face
The type of girl who he builds
A beautiful home for
Have children runnin around…
There’s somethin about that
And how she becomes his real girl….

I honestly
Wanna be her
Yes dream girl
Can exist if she’s his type….
She’s not perfect
Nobody is perfect
But she’s everythin
You asked for….

This is my opinion….

So what’s yours….
Do you think
It’s too old for older women
To say dream girl?
Cos it sounds teenage
Or it doesn’t matter….

To me
I enjoy the dream girl situation
But at same time
I feel old to say
Dream girl….
