Black folks are used to getting nothing or the absolute bare minimum. That's why when someone chooses to look our way and acknowledge Us and Our Struggle, We get excited and focus on that like it's a victory.

That's why politicians continue to win Our votes with emotion, while they know they must win White votes with policy, money, and tangibles.

We've GOT to change this.
