Truth tellers get drugged up…
It’s like they can’t have a voice
They have to shh…
It’s a shame but a major risk…
Truth tellers don’t have to apologize
They’re bold
Got a spine that’s built…
Yet people don’t wanna listen…..
People interrupt them
People argue
However truth tellers
Stood their ground…
Gotta respect them for
Speakin facts…
Why do they always have to be
Punished?
Like no matter what they do
What they say, what they write…
They get our mouths zip
Droppin our pens
Snatchin our phones
We still express our truths
Even after we’re gone,
We’re still speak
Facts haunt every room
In each reality….
People don’t like the truth tellers
Especially the higher ups
You know the elites….
Majority of the world
Live in a lie
A bubble of countless lies
To make money
To fit a narrative….
It’s unfortunate…
Truth tellers get abducted,
Truth tellers get beat up
Truth tellers go to the hospital
They get death threats
Their loved ones get killed
All cos truth tellers do the right thing…
It’s not only to talk truth to power
It’s the actions that back it up….
Too many people
Are cowards
Too many people
Are walkin away instead
Of defendin themselves
They won’t defend their friends
Cos some wanted to be accepted
By society
Some are cruel
And don’t really care….
However,
Truth tellers are alone
Sometimes it’s good
Sometimes it’s sad….
We need more of them
In the world…we’re greedy for
Exposures….
Though people will never
Open our lips
They will still silence
Cos evil is a secret….
Though it’s not hidden good enough….
Might as well let the truth tellers do their jobs
To speak from their souls….
No matter how hurt our feelings are….
Truth will forever set us free…
Will always prevail….
