To the person
Who said I’m angry at white people,
To the white poet who is so tired of
Hearin about slavery,
Let me give you a little advice
Sir
How about scroll down to the next poem
Since you’re so tired of hearin about
Slavery
That says a lot about you,
And you think I’m doin this for clout
No I’m gettin people to think,
Ok….

How about that?
And I defend myself
And I block you on top of that
Nobody wants to hear nor read
A long ass essay about how African owned slavery
And How an African American man was a slave owner
And what? He didn’t create white supremacy..
He didn’t create Jim Crow laws….
He didn’t tell black people to hate themselves…..
He didn’t tell black man who shouldn’t be in the house with his family….

I’m angry at white supremacy….
I’m angry at white people created a systemic oppression
That keeps abusin people of color…..
It doesn’t make it right, but I understand that the minority of
White people have to survive…
I don’t think it’s the way to go about it….
Systematic racism is killin black people in so many ways
You can imagine….it’s why

I wanted to share awareness…cos it does need to be
Discussed in conversations even if white fragility shows
Itself….
If certain white poets feel uncomfortable,
Please scroll to the next poem…stay in your lane….
I won’t apologize for breakin your heart….
I have a voice, too….
I won’t shut the fuck up….

And if I pass away,
I want my readers to share my poems
Everywhere….
Cos black people need to know what white supremacy is
And how it works….tell them to read and google
It’s okay to fact check me….

Did I say all white people?
Did I say I’m angry at all white people?
No….they will break their own code to defend
Black people? Cos they hate their own system, too….
It’s difficult to trust Allies
Cos we prejudge them…no offense

We black people need to be in our own cookout
For a while maybe for a long time
We need to heal ourselves first….
We need to be a selfish race…..
Before we invite any races to come…

We’re tired, we’re exhausted, we’re in pain
It’s like the cycle never ends….
And

White people y’all need to understand that….
We don’t trust y’all…some of us do….
Though we don’t really trust y’all
And y’all know that….

Y’all can’t be mad at us for not trustin y’all
Do y’all understand?
We don’t hate, we’re not angry at all of y’all…
It’s not in our hearts to hate, but we gotta fight back
We gotta defend ourselves cos of your wrongdoings….

I wanna erase white supremacy for once and for all
Get it off the continents, throw it in the trash….
Get rid of European mindset, get it out of our melaninated brains….
Unloved the whiteness out of our beautiful golden souls….

I would love to see a law all over mother green earth
Where colonization and imperialism ain’t allowed….
I would love to see no prison of war, just a taste of freedom and liberty
And white privilege would be all gone forever….
Black people wouldn’t have to deal with the bull shit..
And white people has to be okay with their minority status….
They would have to live without their system….
Cos

Everybody is equal….everybody gets justice equally
And a white man who would need to get over himself
Cos he has no power anymore….

To this poet who I blocked for a few hours ago….
Don’t ever tell a black poetess
Or a black poet
That you’re so tired of
Us talkin about slavery
Or tell us it isn’t about race,
It’s about classism….
Let me put it this way,
Race is part of the classism
Meanin black people are down the bottom….
And white people are on the top…

Don’t do that…

I know you’re not goin to read
This cos I blocked you
So what’s the point?
Well this goes for any black poets and poetesses
Who has gone through this similar experiences
And a white poet has the nerve to tell
You that he or she is tired of listenin to us
Talkin about slavery and it’s not about race….
When we see it with our own two eyes…,

Cos they’re uncomfortable….
The funny part is that they have to write an
Essay in the comments to convince us
That we’re doin this for clout
All they’re sayin is

Get over it….

Block the poets who feel the need to say
They’re tired of hearin about racism white supremacy
Can y’all do that?
Don’t need a headache
Even it’s kinda entertainin at the same time…
