Mad Scientist Hashem Alghaili has unveiled a concept for 'the prison of the future' that he claims could speed up a criminal’s release to minutes, rather than years or decades.

This concept, called 'Cognify,' is designed to implant synthetic memories of a person's crime into their brain, showing the crime from the victim's perspective.

The system uses VR-like devices and AI-generated recordings to simulate these experiences, along with brain implants that trigger emotions such as regret or guilt—feelings some individuals may not naturally experience. Although the therapy lasts only a few minutes, it will feel like years to the perpetrators, profoundly impacting their perception of their crimes.
