Thankful that my Wife doesn't wear heels ๐Ÿ˜Š

When your husband comes to the rescue ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿฅฐ ๐ŸคŽ

This weekend, I was asked how I knew Ernest was the one. My immediate answer is the way he loves me. His selfless love has been on display since he made me his girlfriend at 19 and then wife at 24. One memory always stands out the most, and thatโ€™s when I really knew this man was here for a long time, not just a good time.

One day, I got incredibly sickโ€”a terrible food poisoning episode. Itโ€™s the sickest Iโ€™ve ever been in my life. Iโ€™m talking about hospital-level ill. He stopped everything to be there for me at the hospital, taking care of me, and cleaning up after me in ways I was so embarrassed about. He was only 19 and we had been dating for less than a year! Thatโ€™s when I knew he didnโ€™t play about me, and he cared about my well-being more than anything. That same care and consideration has continued over 16 years later. ๐Ÿฅบ โค๏ธ

Acts of service have always been my love language, so when he does little things like this, it means the world to me. Itโ€™s these acts of selfless love that build a strong marriage, full of love and mutual respect. When your partner puts your needs above their own at a point when you really need their support, it creates a bond thatโ€™s unbreakable.

Remember, love isnโ€™t just about grand gestures all the time; itโ€™s about the small, selfless acts that show you care deeply for each other every day โค๏ธ
