Is prejudice another form
Of racism?
Cos I don’t think it is…
Let me put it this way..
Black people
Prejudge
White people
And other races
Cos
We don’t trust them…
We’re not supposed to trust them…
From the way I see it
Through John Henrik Clarke’s words
“We have no friends.”
I observed that a lot…
All we have is
Ourselves and we don’t
See that cos of our mental illnesses
Has blinded us too much…
I know this sounds like an excuse
Though
I see it….
People keep sayin
Everybody can be racist,
I would always argue
That black people
Can never be racist
We can be prejudice
But not racist…
Racism is power
Ok?
Prejudice
And name callin to me
Is not racist…
I would like to
Know how can black folks be racist
In white supremacy?
White folks created a system
For their survival
For their power over the people who don’t look
Like them….
I see prejudice
In a racism definition
But the two words are actually
Different…it might confuse people
I’m not a racist,
I have no power to control
A nation that doesn’t look like me
I am prejudiced
I’m not lyin…
The reason why I’m that
Cos
I study
History
Psychology
I hear stories of
Black people
Who experienced
Racism every single day
And I understand where they’re comin from
I have empathy for us
White supremacy is a major abuse all over the
Globe….
It’s why I keep speakin
On paper
Cos
We need to know
We’re at war…
And you can’t blame black people
For being prejudice
For what they’ve been through
You can’t even tell us to move on
It’s from the past
When history keeps repeatin
Itself over and over…
I don’t wanna hear shit
Like black people or everyone
Can be racist
I don’t wanna hear that shit..
The truth to the matter
Is
That white people created racism.
They created oppression to make
Nonwhite people feel inferior
To make them feel horrible about themselves
When in harsh reality
White people ain’t superior….they’re not gods…
They wanna be us instead….
I said what I said
Don’t give a fuck
I’m not coddlin
Any emotion
And they know….
Some might not be aware…
