Sonya Massey’s father, James Wilburn, has expressed his anger and heartbreak after viewing footage of his daughter’s fatal police shooting.

Sean Grayson, recently dismissed from the Sangamon County Sheriff’s Department, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in connection with Massey’s death, which occurred after she called 911 to report a suspected prowler near her home.

Attorney Crump describes the body camera footage of the incident as “one of the worst videos of a police shooting ever.”
