The Agotime-Kpetoe district is popularly known for its Kente weaving heritage.
Kente is a richly coloured traditional cloth worn by the people of Ghana. During the festival which usually holds in August, the weavers often showcase their work through demonstrations and exhibitions.
The event also includes other cultural performances, traditional dances, parades and rituals that celebrates the Kente cloth.
