Our hearts are so stupid…
I’m sorry for sayin that
But when we follow our hearts
To the wrong path
And not listenin to our brains
Not listenin to our own guts,

We’ll regret makin bad decisions…..

Your inner voice
Is tryin to tell us somethin,
And we ignore it…

We get the results…now
Our feelings are hurt…

So when are we goin to learn?
The hard way has show us the cruelty
And somehow we turn the other cheek…

Like we’re blind…

We listen to our dumb hearts…
We listen to our dumb thoughts
And we get what we never deserve….

The sad truth about it,
We’re not the same person we are….
We change cos of horrific abuse and circumstances….
We’re so lost in danger…
We feel lonely in toxicity…

And nobody should take advantage
Of vulnerabilities…

Our hearts are stupid….
We should use our brains
Our intelligent parts of our brains instead
Of fallin, instead of being blind by a picture perfect….

We have to recognize the red flags…
One of the biggest mistakes are the first time we don’t see them…
They went over our heads…
Either it could be your friend or lover or relative
Someone you met or familiar…

Our hearts are stupid…
I’m sorry
Though we are…
We do this constantly
Over and over like a pattern
Til we stop at what we’re doin
And let go..

It’s difficult…we have to let go
We don’t need toxic souls who breaks us…
We’re too strong, too wise for that…
You gotta know your self worth
And your self respect….
It’s important
You need to love yourself more
You need to be selfish for the right reason
Selfishness can save you from all the heartache and
Pain…

We have to…
We have to look our silly hearts and ask why
We keep comin back…the fact we all hope for a
Change…we thought givin so many chances
And so much forgiveness…it makes us weak,
Soften our core to the point we continue to love
The wrong people…which means we don’t love
Ourselves enough..
