During his first presidential debate with Kamala Harris, Donald Trump repeated the debunked claims that immigrants are killing and eating pets in Springfield, Ohio.

Springfield officials have told the BBC that “there have been no credible reports or specific claims of pets being harmed, injured or abused by individuals within the immigrant community.”
