He raped me
And nobody believed me
He smiled
I cried
I told somebody who I trust
And they blamed me
For what I was wearin…
Why does clothes have to do
With anythin?
Don’t give a monster an excuse?
He raped me
I didn’t do anythin
I said no
I tried to fight
But he,
He was strong..

I cried
I felt dirty
Somebody needs to kill him…
He’s goin to rape another woman…
He’s goin to threaten her, to keep her quiet

And now
She’s pregnant
With a rapist’s child
She wanted to get an abortion
But her mom convinced her
Not to…

Does she have to be reminded
That trauma through her baby’s eyes?
Does she?

Let me tell you somethin..

A rapist can ruin your fantasies
Can make you look at sex differently
And you tense up when someone is near you…
Somehow it causes your body to give itself away
To multiply nasty men cos that’s what you were taught…
And it’s never ok…

He raped me
He raped her
He raped so many youthful bodies
And created dysfunctional pstd
That we carry the weight of pain around…

We’re told
We’re fast
We’re too fresh
But a grown man
Touched us
His large penis went inside
Small vaginas like it was
Nothin…

Rapist can never be forgiven….
Victim said no
Many times
And people blame
Askin what are you wearin?
The real reason what the fuck is he
Doin in her personal space?

This poem is for the victims. I’ve never been in these situations like this. I don’t want to be in the situation like that. Rape is a crime. You can’t force people to have sex with you and threatened them to keep a secret. Like saying if you tell someone, I’ll kill you and your family. To me that’s insane. And unfortunately these things like this does exist. Why do you think sex trafficking happened around the world? So these nasty people could rape anyone they wanted without getting caught. It’s truly fucked up. Please be careful out there.
