They say
Too grown
Wearin a long gown
She looks 17
But she’s 12….

And it’d be your own people
Criticizin another black girl….

I’m confused with this debate
But I know for a fact that
We need to stop adultify our babies…

I observe that a lot…
She’s still a baby….
For me I thought she’s beautiful
But at the same time too grown….
I’m sorry if I adultify a black child….

There are people who have genuine concerns
Cos of predators, predators would look at this child
As a hungry monster….it’s true…I know her parents were
There, and her bodyguards….

Do you know who I’m referrin to?
Blue Ivy….
Did someone talked about her natural hair
And how it should be straight? It was long time ago
And she was little then…

Again as I said before
It’d be your own people
Who criticized a black child harshly
But it’s funny they don’t do that to a white child
I wonder why….
