You know what triggers me The most
Is that black people don’t even fight back if necessary
We literally take all the abuse..
We’re scared, we’ve been conditioned to be scared…
The only safest way we do is to protest and march around the streets
We hide, we pray…we demand we beg we plead
We make speeches, except violence…

We will never be violent towards the racism,
But we will be violent towards our own people…
I shook my head like when are we goin to get therapy
As a melaninated collective? When are we goin to speak out
Mental health? It seems like never…

We’re deeply in grained to our own sickness,
All the ills came from slavery and colonization…
It’s why many parts of it are in the way of our unity…

Some of us are healin from the trauma,
Some of us don’t know how to break cycles…
It’s why psychology is so important for us to learn
Cos look at our thinkin,
Black people are walkin around like Europeans…
It’s the truth…and we have to understand why is that….

We have to understand why white supremacy
Is makin us hate ourselves and our own people..
Why do we feel inferior, insecure?
It’s too sad to hear my own people
Say i don’t like being melaninated I hate being black…
I hate my own skin, I hate how it comes with me…
Black people there’s nothin wrong with us…
We’re gorgeous…melanin poppin…
White supremacy secretly is in love with us
They worship us behind closed doors…
They envy us, they only do make us
Feel ugh cos they have to survive…
It’s just business…though it’s never okay…
That’s abuse, all kinds of abuses….

They’re truly jealous, so they copy
They don’t give us credit…
Cos they still feel some type of way..
About us…
Ya they hate the fact we’re magic…
We’re majority
And white supremacy is a tiny minority…
A very few people on the chessboard
And us big population don’t know what the hell is going on…
We keep dancin jivin, singin playin
Have no idea, so unaware

I hate to admit it
White supremacy is wickedly brilliant….
I’m sorry
I might be off code for sayin a good thing
About systematic oppression…
I do apologize
However
As black people we’re not payin attention
We don’t have our critical thinkin skills
And I’m not sayin all of us

Just a lot of us who doesn’t have
An observation of what’s happenin…
And we keep askin that same ol question In 2023…

A million of times…may rest her soul….

I wish we could all stop askin what’s happenin….
Cos I do know what’s happenin…
In today’s world….

And y’all should know too…
We’re intelligent people…
We need to stop actin stupid
Like we’re doin that to strengthen the racist system….
We shouldn’t have to do that anymore…
Change our narrative
Be our own natural selves
Make white supremacy feel uncomfortable
And we need to get out of that fear
Where we have to stand our ground violently
