It's a cold, cruel and sometimes just unfathomably inhumane world especially in the U.S. and even more so while being in the body of a Black woman.

I'll admit that I'm genuinely tired of fighting, being resilient and persevering in spite of it all... but I also would NOT DARE conform to normalizing or accepting what would be given to me by default as a reality if I did nothing.

I just need to be surrounded by a community of individuals that are in agreement with that.
