The male Barred Owl arrives while there's still a little daylight carrying a meal for the incubating female! He stays only a few moments—long enough to transfer the prey, a Tufted Titmouse, over to his mate—then returns to the hunt. Meanwhile, a couple minutes later, the female enjoys her meal before settling back in on her two eggs for a night of incubation.
