No Jesus 

If you say 
There’s no Jesus, 
No white Jesus 
No black Jesus 
Man 
People will fuck you 
Up…especially 
Black people 
Especially 
In Africa 
They will be too upset 
With you 
And you know what 
You’re right 
You’re absolutely right cos 
Colonization did it an extra large 
Number of our people 
Who worship god 
God in the sky….
They force a Bible 
In their hands 
Tellin them 
There’s a white guy 
Walkin 
And he healed people 
and he’s perfect 
He’s god….
Yet the scriptures says otherwise 
He was black….
Somehow 
Our people are still 
Waiting for them to save 
Prayin 
It’s a cult….
Jesus ain’t real 
Go ahead 
and tell me 
I’m goin to hell
For sayin this….
I don’t care 
Jesus isn’t real….
He was made up 
For a reason 
Just to control the mindsets 
Of the world…
I’m sorry for breakin your souls 
But it’s abuse….
Plus Jesus story came out of Africa 
Out of Egypt….
Colonizers came and copied 
And put them in their own spin
Meanin beautiful lies 
And gave it back To black people 
In another language that they’re not familiar with 
But Europeans shuff it all the way down to 
Their throats and passin it to many generations 
Here we are today 
Still countin on Jesus Christ 
As a trigger response…
and we never see it that way 
We just see it as love, peace, power 
The perfection….
We have that historical damage in our dna 
For too long 
This is why history is so important 
It’s why we need to study that slave mind 
Have to understand why we have mental chains 
In our brains and hearts…
Through imperialism 
Through slavery 
Through Jim Crow….
They used white Jesus 
To make black people bow down to 
White supremacy…..to white massas 
To fear and forgive white massas
Then we have black Jesus 
White folks be lyin 
Sayin he’s black now 
And I don’t usually pick on him 
A lot cos of representation matters 
Cos I want black people to see themselves 
Though he doesn’t exist either….
And you know what 
The j doesn’t exist…
Also 
Many people don’t follow his  footsteps
it’s hypocritical 
That they judge 
And criticize 
But they love Jesus…
Right?
They praise him?
They praise a fictional character…
Make believe father upstairs on clouds 
And it’s sad….
You don’t have to take my word for it 
I’m sure you’re offended 
However 
You can do your research 
On history 
On slave mentality..
Or not…
It’s your business to 
Believe whatever you want 
Be a Christian 
I’m just givin you a critical thought 
And 
You know somethin 
Critical Thinkin ain’t popular….
Ignorance is more famous than ever
Nobody lets truth sustains itself 
Only lies and fairytales…
Many have trusted a fork tongue way too much…
