Why? 
You’re beautiful….your melanin poppin 
Who told you you’re ugly?
Cos I don’t see anythin wrong…
Black is beautiful…
White supremacy is envy of dark skin…
They will always be deeply envy of 
Ebony….it’s why they buy too many 
Supplies and surgeries to look like 
You….it’s an uncomfortable compliment 
Cos they wore your soul like a Halloween 
Costume…they put their credit upon your culture..
You see, white supremacy has programmed 
you to be white….they want you to switch places….
So they encourage you to hate black….to hate 
Yourself, to hate your own race….
Racism has created a cream to get rid of 
Your melanin, to cause your magic to diminish….
 They sell it at stores, some places banned it…
Yet it’s not just the product, 
It’s the whole psychological bleachin
That came to life
Ever since the day when colonizers told 
Indigenous black people what to do…
That day when the abuse and neglect became 
Trauma creepin through their bones…
I can name it mental bleachin…
Cos they brainwashed that minds and hearts…
The African well beings has been this whiteness 
For too long, it’s still sick…..
You have seen melaninated people defendin a
White man constantly 
They’ve fallen in love with his people over and over 
Knowin their brains still think racism doesn’t exist 
Or racism is dead….
Black minds 
Black skins
Keep drownin in the grains of falsehoods 
That are so white….
and most are wakin up to the fact 
That white ain’t superior….
It’s a construct….
It’s a created system to oppress black people
While white people have their entitlement 
Which is dumb by the way…
When I see you
No bleachin
Your radiant skin captures the sun…
Somehow you decide that you wanna bleach your 
Skin, your gorgeous dark skin..
I would disagree…
I would disagree with your colorism…
Cos dominant society told you to 
Disgrace yourself…
To stereotype your own people 
You know black community has been 
Brainwashed, too….
They never created rules of beauty standards…
It’s the white massas who created construction 
And ideologies of white is the best 
So light skin gets the privilege 
While dark skin gets nothin…
It’s passed down to families after families…
I mean look at history,
Look at the mentality,
And you wonder why 
There are so much bullyin…
This is why lovin and honorin 
Your blackness 
Your melanin 
Is so important…
Lovin yourself is important…
You don’t need to bleach your skin 
To be light 
To be whiter…
and why would you wanna be like 
Europeans?
They don’t know what soap is…
Plus they plagiarize 
Still you wanna be like them….

To tell you what to do with your body 
With your life 
I’m just sayin 
You truly are beautiful 
Without the bull shit…
If you believe in god
He would be disappointed 
If you’re not grateful for what he’s given you…

You’re the original…
Everybody is just another copy of you 
I don’t think you realize that…
This serene beauty in you…
