In Mauritania 🇲🇷 , the Nouadhibou-Zouerat iron ore train is one of the longest and heaviest trains in the world, with over 200 carriages and a length of 2.5 km.

The train is carrying iron ore and the entire load can weigh 8700 tons. Although it is a freight train, some people in the desert area use it to travel. The journey in such conditions is very difficult and toxic and takes about 20 hours.
